With just under 4000 words remaining on By the Stars and Trees, I have begun working on first-round edits and revisions.
Writing this book has been a mixed experience — both a blessing and a curse. A little over a year ago, I hadn’t written anything this long before I started this book. 76,000 words are quite an undertaking when you haven’t written anything past 10,000 words.
The time and work that went into creating this vibrant story was a test of dedication and commitment.
As the editing process begins, I am looking at areas that need revision as well. During this process, I am considering areas that I should expand or go into more detail on. While this process is quite lengthy and takes more time and patience.
